Ceiling height and floor space needed

The Ergatta rower stands at 86 inches when stored. The end of the rails are contoured to reduce the risk of scraping the ceiling, but we recommend that you store the rower in a room with a ceiling of minimum 87 inches.

The rower is 86 inches long on the floor as well. Most rowers under the height of 6’ 5” will not need extra space behind the unit, but we recommend having a foot of space behind the rower. The rower is 23 inches wide, but you will want to make sure that you have space for your elbows. To check, stick your elbows out to our sides—that is the amount of space you will need.
